  • every baby is different. my son was really walking between 11-12 months but I know others who weren't until 16 months. Just depends. There is a very wide range of norm.

  • there is no set amount. mine walked on her 1st birthday. there was a little girl in her daycare that started at 9months. every child is different. don't worry so much. just be glad you don't have to run after them yet.

  • My son didn't start walking until he was 14 months old. My daughter was exactly 13 months old. Try blowing bubbles to get your little one to walk. I saw it on a "The Doctors" episode.

    Hope this helps a bit!

  • There is a huge range of what is normal for walking. I have heard of 10 month olds walking and others starting at 15 months. Just keep encouraging her.

  • Each child is different, especially when it comes to walking. My daughter didn't take her first steps until a few days after her 1st birthday. My son took his first steps around 9 months, but 10 months he was walking great.
