Diaper Rash

My little one Loves Juice but gets these NASTY rashes from them, is there anything that would be a good ointment to put on it?

  • Mix equal parts Lotramin, Desatin, and cortizone in a resealable container. Apply as needed to the area. This is what the pharmacist recommended to us for dd when she was a baby and we were battling nasty diaper rash because of antibiotics for ear infections. It worked like a charm, it was cleared up within a few days. You might also try watering down you little one's juice a bit. It may be too strong for the little tummy. Good luck!

  • Call your doctors office and ask them to write a prescription for nystatin It works great.

  • Nystatin might work, it's for fungal infections.
I used to use A&D ointment all the time, to protect the baby's skin. Then I'd use Desitin if a rash started. The thing about any diaper rash is to be sure they are completely dry from washing them off before putting the ointment/cream and diaper back on. Good luck!
