is it normal

is 97.2 a normal temp for a 3 month old from under the arm?

  • Yes ~ under the arm you add a degree to what the thermometer your baby's temp is 98.2. I

  • The average for an adult is 98.6. When taking the temp under the arm, add a degree to it, and you'll get 98.2, which is't too low. If you're concerned, put a sweater or hat on the little one. Worry more if there's a 3 degree or more difference from the norm for your child. (My temp normally runs around 97 degrees. My son's is about the same.)
