Picture takeing question

I want to take a picture of my pumpkins lit. If I turn the flash off the picture is very blurry, if I leave it on the picture is bright and doesn't show that it is dark. What do I do?

  • get a tripod and put the shutter on a timer.
take your hands off of the camera and let it take the photo while its on a tripod.
    it wont be blurry

  • What kind of camera do you have? If you have a point and shoot of some kind -- Does it have a "fireworks" preset key? You might try that setting as well. :) Tripod would definitely be best...
