I am a nursing Mom but really wants to see a movie, how can I do this?

My 7 week old doesn't really nurse on a set schedule during the day yet. She eats a lot and takes a break then eats again 20 min later etc. How can I escape to see a movie? I thought about going alone but have hubby walking the mall in case she needs me. Doesnt' sound like a very fun idea does it!? any ideas?

  • What about netfilx and then you and DH can get take out and enjoy a movie night in your own home until the baby gets older and on a more predictable schedule. Just one idea.............

  • Give it a few more weeks. She is still little yet and might soon go longer between feedings and get on more of a schedule! For now, rent a movie and while she is settled down at night, curl up next to hubby and enjoy the movie at home. Maybe order pizza or pop a bunch of popcorn. Congrats on your new little girl!!

  • I would take her and nurse during if she fussed. I took my son at 4 weeks. He did fine.

  • i would pump and leave the baby with a trusted someone. don't take her to the movies though. it would be too loud for her little ears

  • Go to a daytime showing and bring her. Nurse through most of the movie.
