  • I'm never loose with love.

But I would rather love and lose than never love at all. :-)

  • The loss of a love is the drill that bores the holes in your heart so that you can feel ever deeper love.

Love is dangerous and, frankly, for many people, avoidable and distasteful. I completely understand that many people will never find the courage to open up to real love. It's a tragedy, but I understand it.

Anyone who has ever been blown apart by love understands it. It's hard to continuously put yourself in a position where someone else can annihilate you... it's a variety of trust and vulnerability that is truly difficult to choose. And it is a choice. I get why people don't.

I just have to. I just can't live without its amazing rush, it's calming and overwhelming joy, its deeply satisfying fullness. I know I'm going to be destroyed by it, that I will outlive at least one of the people who can affect me this way... and I am willing to live with that... for this.

  • As hard as it would be, I'd have to say love and lose, because it would be sad to never love at all
