  • When I was in my teens one of them began to bother me, and at the time they were all impacted, and I had dental insurance to cover the expense, so I had them all removed, and I am glad I did!

  • No and I never have had any. My dentist said I'm one of the rare few people that never get wisdom teeth..Hooray for me?! LOL

  • Nope. Had to have all 4 of mine removed many, many years ago.

  • Ask your dentist.

Some wisdom teeth are problematic (usually because there isn't room for them) and many aren't. No reason to remove them if they're not a problem.

  • Got mine pulled out last year because they started hurting me

  • I had all 4 of mine removed when I was 21.  The top ones were coming in but had broke through the side of my gums and I kept biting the inside of my cheeks.  It was driving me nuts.  The bottom ones were impacted so the dentist said he would just remove them all.  He did it surgically, right before Christmas.  I got the stitches out on Christmas Eve but I was still too sore to eat anything tough.
