When your children don't listen to you

how do you handle it??

  • Depends on their age.

    I walk up and get right in their face and say it calmly and sternly.  I wait for them to do what ever it is I have asked them to do.

    If I have asked them to do something and they blew it off... then there are consequences equal and relevant to the issue at hand.

  • put them in time out and if they keep it up they're going to bed early.

  • Put them in a time out. Diciplin is the only method to handling disobeying children.

  • Put them in their room, take away computer or video game time. Don't let friends come over.
