  • u should burp a baby until they are not drinking from a bottle ne more. the air can cause them to be gassy and upset their stomach.

  • I quit burping him at about 4 months. He wouldnt burp when i burped him and he would go roll around and wiggle and burp himself :)

  • newsflash...any food can make anyone gassy. sorry phillipsandrea but you are wrong. no matter what your age is you naturally swallow air while you eat which is why EVERYONE burps after eating and some babies have strong enough ab muscles to burp themselves. and newsflash i hear my baby burp while she is lying down after i take her bottle away. babies need to be burped until they are strong enough to burp themselves, not while they are on a bottle cause like i said EVERYONE swallows air and has to burp after has nothing to do with a bottle

  • 6.5 months and still going. Everyone said she'd be able to burp herself at bout 3 months. Lol. If we don't burp her properly, she gets uncomfortable and fussy
