What is a good vegetable to serve with spaghetti?

I need a vegetable to serve with our spaghetti tonight. We have carrots, corn, green beans, and peas. Which do you think would taste better woth spaghetti?

  • I make salad, or a veggie packed minestrone soup usually, but sometimes I'll make some of Weight Watchers baked eggplant rounds from a recipe I got on their site.

  • You can always take the carrots and grind them up and sneak them in the sauce..it will bring a nice sweetness to the mix.

  • I always load my spaghetti with hamburger, onions, mushrooms and celery. It's usually a meal in itself, since it also has tons of tomato in it. Occasionally I serve it with salad though. I just can't imagine any other vegetable with it.
