  • I had contractions for 4 weeks with my first, I had to be put on bed rest and get a shot to stop labor. My really painful contractions started at 5:30 Am every 7-8 minutes then by 8:00 am they were 3-4 minutes.
My second they started at 8:00 pm every 4 minutes and by 10:00pm they were every 60 seconds.

  • I actually still remember!
With my 5 year old we went out to dinner around 7 O'clock and the whole time we were there I kept having BH contractions. We decided we better start timing them and they were about every 10 minutes, it went on all evening long and became real contractions in the middle of the night, I think around 1 A.M. He wasn't born until 11:30 P.M. the next night, so I say I was in labor for 28 hours.
With my 3 year old they started the same way, with regular BH contractions around 8 A.M. That was the best labor ever, having had a full night's sleep the night before. She was born around 8 P.M.
With my 8 month old they woke my up at 1 A.M. as real contractions and he was born around 9 A.M.
