Would you rather work the 3pm -11pm shift, or the 11pm -7am shift?

Why?

  • In my situation it would have to be the 11-7 shift. Due to the fact I'm a SAHM and those are the hours my husband would be home to care for the kids. 3-11 takes away most of the day even if I had the ability to work it. I used to work 2-10 at a retail chain and I always felt like my entire day was wasted. If I had the availability I would choose the 7-2 shift, because that would allow me the rest of my day.

  • The 11 pm- 7 am shift that way I can sleep while my son is at school and then pick him up, play with him, cook dinner, help with homework, put him to bed, have a little me time, and then go to work.

  • 11pm-7am. I'd choose that shift because I could work while my daughter was sleeping, and could still be available to raise her during the times she is awake.

  • 11PM-7AM because I'm more of a nocturnal person. Plus, I'd be awake for my classes, then after I could go home a sleep a few hours before going back to work.

  • 3-11. I work 4:30 - 8:30 pm now and I love it. Plenty of time during the day to hang out with LO and get stuff done.
