Remember or forget?

If you had a bad homelife as a child would you rather remember everthing that happened or forget years of your life?

Of course, people don't really get to pick but do you think those who have forgotten years of their life due to bad experiences would like them back for the good memories that also got lost with those years?

  • I'm glad that I remember my years of abuse as a child. It's made me a stronger person, but it's taken me 9 years to get to that point. I don't think I would be the person I am today if I didn't remember that.

  • I would never like to forget the years of my abuse. I don't dwell on my past, I think of where I've come from when I start to give up.
