  • I bled from the normal post partum bleeding for about 2.5 weeks. Then, when my daughter was about 5 weeks old I got my period back, which was a huge shock because I was exclusively breastfeeding. It's normal to bleed less time than that, or longer, though.

  • I think it was about 2 weeks for me. I had a c-section; I don't know if that changes the bleeding or not.

  • i bled for about 6 weeks with my 1st, maybe a week with my 2nd and my 3rd I was barely bleeding when I left the hospital....I am hoping this 1 will come out and I will never bleed from it and everything will go back to normal instantly (dream on right!)

  • it really depends on the woman...i bled for one week and then had mucussy discharge for one more week, then i was done

  • With my first baby it lasted about 2 weeks then I got my period at 6wks, it was awful and can't help thinking if I have bled a bit more after birth it might not have been so gross!

  • i was bleeding for almost 2 weeks and it was light and then spotting off and on for about 1 week

  • I bled for two months off and on, but my gyn thinks it was that my period was just trying to get back on track.
