So what's the deal on this?

If a guy doesn't know a girl's age (high school age) and thinks she's attractive, its okay?

Once he finds out is she supposed to become unattractive? Back off her, yes, but she still looks the same to him.

What if he does know her age, is it still wrong to think she's attractive? Even if he has no plans to act on it? As long as he keeps his thoughts to himself, then its okay or is that still a bad thing?

Just curious, cuz I notice some people feel its okay to like how a young lady looks as long as the age wasn't clear to the man. Once it is, she's still going to be cute, though, he just knows not to do anything about it. Is that right?

  • I think it's okay for anyone of any age to appriciate the appearence of someone else. Again, regardless of age. Appriciation of beauty is natural in the human race. However, if an of age guy thinks an underage girl is "Hot", "Sexy", or "Cute" in more then just an appriciative way, then there's something wrong with that. No person of age should think of a young person's looks in more then a "She's a nice looking young lady" kind of way. Regardless of whether he knows her age or not. Though I do understand that sometimes it's hard to tell.

  • not sure how to really answer your question.. But you can't just chose who you are attracted to. Some men may look at a girl a different way when he knows the age but he would still find her attractive I would think. Of course it would be wrong if he acted on his feelings if he knew the age also. But then again is it wrong if he doesnt know the age and she represented she is older and he acts on that, does that make him a bad person? I in no way condone pedophilia so dont get me wrong here, but just not sure exactly what you are asking. Unfortunately this day an age young girls want to be and look older. and you cant stop men from thinking inappropriate thoughts about them. All you can do is talk to your child and let her or even him if you have a boy, know that they should just be a kid and that having any sort of relationship with an older person is not a good idea. You can only do so much as a parent.

  • You can appreciate the beauty of anyone, but if one thinks they could be anywhere near the illegal side of 18, they better ask for ID just to be safe and it is in appropriate to verbalize what is going through the male head at just about any time.

  • Appreciating the beauty of anyone is ok. Acting on the thoughts are not.

  • rather vauge concept. Are we talking about a 19 yr old boy who thinks a 15 yr old girl is cute... fine. Once he finds out his age he needs to back off. A 40 yr old man thinking a 15 yr old girl is cute... discusting. He is old enough to KNOW that she is too young. Even if he thinks she is 20 that is still TOO young. Shame on him. He can think she is pretty but he should NEVER utter the words or act upon it in any way shape or form.
