craigslist is so stupid! is there another site where i can advertise my yardsale without having to give my phone number?

i really don't want all these spammers or con artist having my phone number

  • I never had to put my #, had them respond to the e-mail, that doesn't show your e-mail address. Just looked an most of them don't have a phone #.

  • Don't have to put your phone number on craigs list to run ad for garage sale. You can try your local online newspaper, if you want. GL

  • i tried just using 555 555 5555 but it says that number can not be found..then i tried using my area code..and 555 5555 then it said they were calling the number to verify and then it gave a warning about blacklisting

  • There's a category under for sale that is garage sale. See if you can put it there without a phone number.

  • Just advertise it and leave your number out. I get a bunch of spam too and I hate it. I just ignore it and delete it. Put it in the local paper. You would probably have better luck there. It doesn't cost much.
