Need comfy, yet somewhat stylish shoes...

I have a really bad back and need to buy some shoes that I can wear most days. I'm usually a jeans & dressy shirt type girl and am 46. Also live in the Boston area so flip flops are out from now until June. Tried some Merrells, but they made my feet look huge. Any suggestions?

  • I bought an awesome pair of flats from Payless almost a year ago. They're amazing. Do you have any problems with your feet? High arches, et al.?

  • Tam - my heels get really sore and I need a comfortable foot bed so that my back is not shocked when I walk.
    Twins+ - I think that's my next try. I haven't worn clogs since college.
