# Feedings

I feed my son eveery 3 hours, 3 oz. Is this right right amount? He is 12 days old.

• it depends on how much he weighs....you can look it up oon yahoo.....theres a formula to calculate how much formula they need per their weight.

• Sound about right. I used to feed my son the same amount. 3OZ EVERY 3HRS.

• Sounds great to me.. he will let you know when he wants more. Don't look at charts or ideal amounts for weight because it is sooo easy to overfeed a baby. If he is satisfied after every feeding, you're doing a great job!

• there really isnt a set amount a baby should be eating..my 2mo daughter was eating about that. but after the 1st mth, she started to want more. as they get older-they should. she eats now every 31/2 hrs 5oz. if ur baby is still hungry after 3oz, i would just increase it by one ounce.

• it really depends on his weight....take his weight and multiply it by 2.5..thats how much he should be consuming within 24hrs...
