odd number school Grades

Has anyone ever heard that the odd numbers grades are ther hardest?

  • I hadn't heard that. Based on what I've seen with my own kids, I can see where it's true. There seems to be a work/home work load & pace increase in the odd grades. The exception for my kids may be 8th where they will take Algebra 1.

  • Teacher here...you are very observant and exactly correct! :) It is generally known by teachers that odd grades are the " learning" grades and the grade that follows is a review. Of course they add too the info learned from the previous grade.

  • Never heard of that, but my kids are just starting school (second and third grades) and I am probably going to be keeping an eye out for that.
