did having kids change your internal temp?

Before kids DH's complaint was stop touching me:) your hands and feet are freeeeeezing. Now a few yrs later his complaint is your makin me sweat! He has his own blanket and I usually don't use one. As we get older-im 34 now, I under stand bodies change, so is it age? Or having kids.

  • i think it is both too. after my 1st child i would be so cold sometimes my fingernails and toenails would turn blue. now after my 3rd i sleep with the fan on full blast and the a/c turned low. my hubby likes it because he's always ran cold and i used to freeze him out too with my cold hands and feet :)

  • I think it's both. I noticed after having DD that I would get overheated quicker than normal. SO and I can briefly cuddle or we both over heat. he is naturally hot blooded.

  • I couldn't tell you. I've always had cold hands and feet when I go to bed, and having two kids didn't change that. I am 28 (as of today, Happy Birthday to me!) so I don't know about the age thing because it's been like that for as long as I can remember.

  • I think may have something to do with your thyroid, not that there is something wrong, but that it has changed a bit...

  • I think the extra pounds I added since having kids has insulated me and warmed me up.
