My friends son got suspended from school for waring the colors and tshirt of the schools rivel team for home coming? WTF

I knw what he did was obniouxos, but was it really right to suspnd him? he is intitled to his own opnion. He not only got suspended, he is not aloud to attend his homecoming either- with out a refund on his tickets?

  • His clothes are a distractions. So, if it is in the dress code to not have distractive clothes, then, yes, they can do that.

  • I tell you, the schools are getting to be so ridiculous!
    I think this whole thing that they can get suspended for being a 'disruption' - I call that code for 'let's find someone to blame because we can't control the students'
    intentional or not, the idea of looking to suspend students for something they can't clearly define is unbelievable!

    these things happen, doubt if it will keep him from having a good life.

    I wish I'd thought of that when I was in school! :)

  • My son gets suspended or ISS for less things at least once a week. So, I would suspect this is not his first incident.
