To pluck or not to pluck?

My husband loves me as natural as possible (although he'd draw the line at me sporting my moustach).

He really wants me to stop plucking my eyebrows. Aside from how rough they'd look coming back in, what do you all think to eyebrows 'au naturel'??

[I would love to stop plucking them, love to not have the bother anymore but I'm scared too!]

  • Personally I wouldn't stop plucking. You and I are similar in that we don't wear much makeup, and I feel keeping well manicured eyebrows gives me that femine feeling.

  • My husband doesn't mind my natural look either. lol. If I go a few days without shaving my legs, I always catch him rubbing my legs. I think he likes the feel of it. But I don't think I could go without plucking my eyebrows. I just think they look gross when I let them just grow out.

  • i heard about this thing could threading. it is suppose to last a lot longer and change the way they come in. i haven't tried it personally but my friends swear by it.

  • He sounds too controlling. They are your eyebrows, do what you want!

  • nope..i love the feel and look of hair-free skin. unless i lose my mind, and my caretake doesn't deem it necessary upkeep, i''ll always want to keep those brows shaped up. they frame the eyes, ladies. you'd be surprised how different your face looks with a little 'cleaning'.

  • My husband has no idea I pluck. I don't keep it a secret, he just couldn't care less. Why would your husband care? Do what you want! I would never stop plucking. It would really look terrible.

  • He's not putting any pressure on me to stop plucking them if I'd rather not. I already don't wear make up. It's my vanity I guess. I think I might look a bit washed out and washed up if I stopped plucking my eyebrows too. Have to say I've already told him if I try it I definitely will not go 'unibrow' :D Those ones in the middle will HAVE to stay gone!

  • I can't imagine my DH ever requesting anything about my own hair... That would honestly cause some issues here! Do what makes YOU feel good and ignore what he thinks... YOU have to like what you see in the mirror... Lets face it, in the dark, he's not going to care what your eyebrows look like

  • Sorry, but my husband never had a say-so in whether or not I plucked or shaved my legs...If you want to do, that's one thing..but don't let him have that control.
