Permanent ink on a dry erase white board.

One of my students drew a big ugly picture on the dry erase board in my 2nd period class and I have no clue how to get it off. I will google for more info but was wondering if anyone else, maybe a teacher on here, might have a tried and true method?

  • I've used the dry erase marker, wrote over it, erased it, it's gone!

  • I've also used the Dry-erase marker over the Permanent one, and then erase! It works!

  • Thanks ladies, I'll try putting dry erase marker over it and erasing before I go trying the nail polish remover. I hope if it comes down to using the remover it won't damage the board.
