s/o would you rather have your SO leave you for a man or a woman?

I think either way I would feel the same, hurt and betrayed

  • definitely a man. something about being left for another man is much less insulting than being left for a woman. i would have much less insecurity issues if he left me for a man. atleast i would know that there was nothing wrong with me, there was a glitch in his brain from birth that decided he should be attracted to the same sex.

  • I agree with the hurt and betrayed, but I guess I'd rather it be a man. With another woman I would always wonder what she had that I didn't. With a man, at least I would know what I was lacking!

  • Either way it would hurt. I would hope to someday be friends with the person he was with, for my kids sake. But man or woman.. that wont change how It would hurt. I almost think it would hurt more if it were a woman he left for. But.. I have no proof to back that up, lol I just assume it.

  • A man would be less painful then wondering what you didn't have to keep your man happy

  • I don't think I could pick either one myself.

  • wouldn't matter.

One would hold no more betrayel, hurt, anger or pain than the other.

Who/What a spouse chooses to cheat with & leave their family for doesn't matter as much in the long run, as the fact that they did it in general.

  • I'm not sure it would make that much difference.

  • Wouldn't matter to me. A break up is still painful no matter the reasons or circumstances.
