  • I think so, if two gang members shot each other then those are two less dangerous people on the street. Wouldnt you think?

  • Only for the victims and their families. These "bad guys" still have families and friends who love them and who are going to be hurt by the loss... The general population doesn't usually have a stake in it either way...

  •   Families are usually affected, and might not be "bad guys."   It's not good for them.

  • Murder and death are never a "good thing". No one wins and all parties and extended families loose. Even the community looses. How? Did you ever see Its a Wonderful Life? Its a movie about a man who wishes he'd never been born. So an angel asked God to make it so. The man saw how through his life his choices saved/ changed the course of other's lives. Even with the bad men. They didnt' start out that way. Culture, environment, dysfunctional families, bad relationships all play a part. The worst part was the choices these men made to have a face-off with each other. Did society win because we were rid of two angry men trying to prove a point? I don't think so, things always changes. Sometimes the bad really do get better. Sometimes they just have to fall in love! LOL
