Any safe way to get rid of an unborn infants hiccups?

With both my son & this pregnancy the kids had hiccups constantly. they are so strong they make every inch of my stomach-butt move. it drives me crazy lol. Is there anything i can do to at least cushion the blow of the hiccups?

  • Nope, I always thought that the hiccups were cute. I loved feeling any movement from my little on inside me.

  • Nothing you can do. They're a good thing! Hiccups are spasms of the diaphragm, which is getting a workout so that it will be strong to help your baby breathe! You can't control them anymore than he/she can. There's not much you can do to feel them any less but wait for them to pass.
