Blood Pressure question

I took my Blood pressure at Albertsons and it was 134/ 80. Is that horrible? Would they medicate someone at that level? I don't have insurance, so doc will have to wait :(

  • I don't thnk they consider it 'high' until it's over 140 (top) 90 (bottom). One or the other.

  • I agree with but_mommie. My doc told me I would not be treated if it was under 140/90.

  • No, they would not medicate at that level, but it could be high for you.......Try walking every day for 30 minutes to reduce it....
