  • I say yes, only HCG can make a line appear and HCG only comes from a placenta.

  • Have you missed your period yet? If not, then yes it could be wrong. If you have missed it, then, I have no idea.

  • blood test are super sensitive. Pee test almost never give a true false positive. Are you sure you aren't getting a 'ghost line' L=An indication of a line but no really color?

  • Sounds like maybe you are seeing the evaporation lines on the pregnancy tests. Blood tests are VERY accurate at detecting pregnancy, especially early on. If you feel that the blood test was wrong, buy a digital pregnancy test. You can't go wrong with those. They say PREGNANT or NOT PREGNANT.

  • A blood test measures from zero on up for Hcg in your blood. My doctor told me anything 5 or over is considered "positive" for pregnancy. A pee test usually starts measuring at 25 (although I have seen some super sensitive test claim they can measure 10 to 15. So basically, a blood test is going to always be more accurate then a pee test.

  • Here's a better answer: http://www.babyhopes.com/articles/positive-negative.html

It could depend on what kind of blood test was done as well.
