How does Cafemom determine which questions should be deleted? adult content

Is it according to their own beliefs or values or is it according to a certain number of complaints or something completely different???
I just answered a question that I thought was hilarious but then I got an error message saying the question had been deleted for content.
Really??? As mothers I'd think we've all had sex at least once... right??
Someone please explain

  • I have no idea! I've had that happen SO many times and it ticks me off. It's like the questions that are meant for fun or whatever are always the ones that get deleted, but if someone posts something trolling and to start drama, then that's perfectly fine. I'm going to start reporting EVERY trollish thing I see and see what happens. I bet nothing will. Now watch this answer get deleted (or the whole question) because this stuff was mentioned.

  • I JUST POSTED THE SAME THING!! What is the freaking point of the caution sign if it still gets our questions deleted! I'm sick of all the prudes!!!! We are mom's because we had sex, and if we are lucky it was hot, steamy, dirty, slimy sex!! lol.

  • I just told my husband about all this- here's what he said:

'OK, I'll keep my bedroom activities private, now let me tell you about the stairs!!!!!!!!'

  • Yeah, I don't understand either. It's supposed to go by TOS and the Guidelines, but I think sometimes things are let slide. I will not specualte as to why, but I have my theories.

  • I think it depends on who reads the "complaints". Some things that should get deleted don't & then along comes a very similar thing & it does get deleted. I dont think they play fair around here.

  • Any questions that are absurd, gross, obscene, advertising a business, or complaining about a member of Cafemom or the website itself, they generally get deleted
