Do you let your kids answer the phone when you know it's a solicitor?

  • of course i let my 4 year old anwer to solicaters. its the best to hear them laugh and answer back to her strange question and tell her wild storys

  • it doesn't necessarily work anyway. when I worked at a college call center calling perspective students, I loved it when people did that! made my day when the kid told me all about the cool picture he drew, or how his mean mommy took his toy away!

  • I've thought about it, but most of the time the solicitors barely speak english plus I'm afraid of what they will say to my child. Don't want them scarred for life!

  • when we had a land line. we did not ever answer the phone. it just went to voice mail. so in other words. no.

  • lol no, but we don't have a home phone just a business line, (and I obviously don't want her to answer that phone just in case, lol). We use cell phones and I have my number on the do not call list so I don't deal with any solicitors.

    Personally I hardly let me DD use the phone unless it's after I call and am already on the line with her grandparents, her dad, or her uncle.
