Why is my Lab barfing in the mornings?

My 3 year old yellow lab is acting pregnant like me! Today was the 3rd time (in a span of 2 or 3 weeks) she's woken up barfing yellow bile onto my carpet... I haven't changed her diet or her food, she hasn't been eating grass... and she is definitely not pregnant lol So what could be wrong? Any ideas?

  • Dogs get gastric reflux just like humans. Could possibly be that!

  • It is probably caused by an empty stomach. Is there any way you could either feed her last meal a little later or her first meal a little earlier? Or, if you are only feeding her once/day, start feeding her twice/day.

  • Its because of an empty stomach. My Fox Terrier does that if I sleep in and dont feed him at eight AM but I get that way too. If I dont eat I get sick to my stomach and then I dont want to eat at all. Its a vicious cycle :(
