How soon did you wait after a c-section to get pregnant again?

I think the experts reccommend 18-24 months??

  • I had a c-section with my first and she was about 16 months when I became pregnant again... Im having my c-section on Monday, and I will say throughout this pregnancy I have gotten weird pains where I had my previous c-section....So im not sure if that is just me or everyone.

  • I never heard anything. My kids are 2 1/2 years apart, so I waited around 20 months.

  • I don't know what the recommendations are-- my oldest was 15 mo old when I got pregnant with #2-- who was born a week after the oldest turned 2. Then I did not get pregnant again for 6 years.

  • My son is 15.5 months and i wish i could try for says i cant try until hes 2. I will wait. I wouldnt want to risk the babies health. Or mine for that matter.

  • I guess I should have asked that question, but my doctor didn't seem concerned when I told him I was trying already at 7 months. I had a c-section with my first. She was 9 months old when I got pregnant again. I'm now 2 months along.
