How did you lose your baby weight?

I was thinking of taking Zumba, but was wondering what everyone else did and how it worked?

  • My daughter is two and I just started losing the weight a few months ago. I changed my diet. I started making healthier choices. I cut out beef and pork and started counting my calories, fat and sodium. I've lost 30 pounds since March. I also do heavy housework every single day and dance around a lot with my daughter.

  • well, if you are breastfeeding, you are blessed... a lot of calories get burned when u breastfeed. Any kind of cardio and strenght training will help. I just watched what I ate.. and took longer walks. But most importantly, eat healthy.

  • Cardio with the Wii Fit! LOVE the Wii Fit! I do.
    Then Pilates and Yoga to help tone and strengthen.

  • I breastfed and bellydanced and was able to get back into shape pretty quickly. If I had known about Zumba back then I probably would have done that too. It looks like a LOT of fun!

  • i figured out my BMR and figured out how many calories i needed to eat to lose weight.
    then i logged everything i ate.
