  • I don't have them, but I do have a warning. My boss' neighbor bought some. While wearing them she stepped onto some uneven ground (not really a hole, but just a little uneven), and she broke her ankle. So, if you won't be wearing them strictly on smooth even surfaces be very careful.

  • My boss bought some and said she wears them EVERYWHERE. She said she goes for walks with them with her dog or just for a work out, to the grocery store, she wears them here at work, etc. She said they are AWESOME and well worth the money.

  • I would never buy them, they just look ridiculous.

Orly Avitzur, M.D. wrote about her experience wearing Skechers shape-ups and said, "If it were up to me, the shoes would be sold in a store's exercise equipment department--not in the shoe department---because they should be worn at most for a couple of hours to supplement your exercise routine, not for an entire day."

  • I bought a pair of the flip flop kind this summer, and walked around the mall for a little while and they hurt my feet alot, so I took them back.

  • I have a pair and wear them when walking 2-3 miles on our rocky driveway at home. I don't have trouble with balance on the rocky surface, they don't make my back hurt, and they are very comfortable. I have my plantar fasciitis and since I have started wearing them my feet feel great. I always have a dedicated pair of shoes for walking so I am going to get a second pair for everyday.
