Is a baby wipes warmer necessary?

I realise these new gadgets were not always around and babys grew up just fine with out them but sometimes I wonder would it really make a difference to use them.

  • No and they end up drying out the bottom wipes and sometimes get so hot they can burn them up if you forget to put water in it. Some get the wipes entierely too hot. And then by the time you get it to their bottom it isn't too much different temo than it would have been in the pack they come in.

  • I never had one. I don't think it's necessary.

  • It's nice in winter, but it's not a neccessity. Wipes do feel awefully cold sometimes. Alot of things aren't neccessities, but they can make life easier or more pleasant.

  • I never had one, never found a need for one... They are a waste of money!

  • I'm with mmmegan, I warm them up in my hands. I just hold it between my two hands or in one palm until the chill is gone.

  • Not necessary but I love it!!! Especially in the middle of the night when baby is half asleep. I have never had a problem with them getting too hot, every week you wet a pillow like thing when you are adding wipes, not a big deal.

  • Ive never used one. My friends daughter is a couple months older than my son and when ik was pregnant she was telling me that the warmer dried out the wipes and caught fire. Yikes!
