How late do you have to be to have missed a period?

  • I would say a week or two, but you've definitely missed one if the next month you either start or don't. Mine are really erratic so I can sometimes miss a period completely but thankfully I don't really have to worry about being pregnant (my husband got a vasectomy) and it's been that way since I started when I was younger.
