I wouldn't but my mother inlaws friend would be.

  • no way...as long as the person that my children date/married respect, honor and value them then i am OPEN TO BLACK, WHITE, GREEN, RED, GAY, LESBIAN, WHATEVER MAKES THEM HAPPY...all i want is my kids happy...plain and simple

  • As long as my child was being treated with love and respect, I couldn't care less about skin color (or sexual orientation, for that matter).

  • no, and I did for years so I can say that. My friend on the other hand, is engaged to a black guy, has a son with him, and her parents are still intolerant of them and their relationship. Its heartbreaking he's not allowed to their house, he NEVER goes to family functions, and they've been together for.....almost 10 years...omg, i hadn't realized how long its been LOL. Its a shame and puts more stress that is undeserving on the parties that are together. Why would you want to alienate your family because of someones skin color? its barbaric
