  • Phil.2:5 Keep this mental attitude in YOU that was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, although he was existing in God’s form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God.

  • in the beginning there was the word and the word was with god and the word was god. And the word became flesh. (read John 1) Jesus is God. so they have the same powers.

  • I don't believe so, no. I also (obviously) don't believe Jesus is God. :)

  • Jesus is the power and wisdom of God the Father/YHWH/Jehovah (1 Cor 1:23-24), Jesus commands the forces of nature as God the Father/YHWH/Jehovah (Luke 8:22-24), and Jesus works the miracles that only God the Father/YHWH/Jehovah is capable of (Matt 14:14-21, Mark 6:48-50, John 2:1-9, Matt 9:18-26). So yes, they have the same power.

  • what do you mean by power?

when i hear "Jesus" i think only of the being on Earth, so no Jesus didnt have powers while on Earth equal to Gods power in the Universe.

  • Jesus clearly stated at John 14: 28: ..."you would rejoice that I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am."

  • Yes because He and the Father are ONE. He was giving Honor to His Father when He said that He also said we would do greater works than He did on the earth.

  • Yes. They both use the same power, the holy Priesthood, to create and edify, to build and inspire.
