Question about little tykes blue plastic swing

I just bought one and since SO is gone for the week i was trying to hang it in a tree in the yard but no matter what I do it wont swing straight. Anyone else have this problem? I am using rope and tieing that to the metal hook and it doesn't want to work. any ideas?

  • Yes, the swing will need weight and use to get the ropes to sit / hang right, allowing it to swing right.

  • I agree. Mine hangs from the clothes line and is never straight unless lil guy is sitting in it.
