  • One of my neighbors was 52 when she had her youngest. It was not planned. She thought it wasn't possible for her to have any more. Her other children were 24 and 26 and the 24 year old had just found out she was pregnant.

  • Personally I don't know anyone who did at that age. Some of my husband's family had a baby in their 40s and he had down syndrome when he was born. The older you get the higher the chances of down syndrome.

  • My friends mom who is 48 just had her 4th child last month. My friend is 21, and has her sisters who are 17, and 15, and now the new baby...
I think it's kind of messed up.. and sad. Expecially since she's been devorced 2 times, and now has this new baby with her new boyfriend.

  • I know a few ladies who had Children in their late fourties. If you feel it is for you then pray about it and let God's will be done :-)
