does anyone know a car seat that i can take on a plane with me that is faa approved..

  • The majority of car seast are FAA approved. Booster seats however are not.

  • We have a Safety 1st seat that we took on a trip in July. Got it at SAM's for $100

  • I know off hand that Sunshine Kids Radian XTSL and 80s are FAA approved. Plus they fold up & have a carry strap, which is great for travel. They're RF up to 40lbs and FF up to 80lbs. Plus they're GREAT carseats! You can use LATCH & harness all the way up to 80 lbs.

  • I will tell you this,,,most airlines don;t even check...but I think Britax is a definate...

  • Check the seat you own and see if it says something like it's approved for automobiles and aircrafts... if it says something like that it's okay.
