Uncomfortable Sex adult content

I have pain with intercourse. Not like burning pain or irritating pain (associated with STDS) but pain that feels like I am being stabbed in the gut. It makes sex very unenjoyable, and there is supposedly nothing wrong with me? I'm starting to lose my drive because it just is more pain than anything. Anyone have any thoughts?

  • I had this issue and my previous doctor could NOT find anything wrong. Told me, use lube...which I never need. Told me to try different positions. We did all that and still every time, with my ex, it was SUPER painful. I would wince and try to hide how much pain I was in to not hurt his feelings, but sometimes he would feel crappy 'cause he could see me trying to hide it on my face.

Well, recently I started dating someone and didn't have this issue. Weird I thought. I can actually even use tampons now. So...while I was at the doctor in August, he did an ultrasound to check if all inside is ok for me to do the essure procedure. He came back and told me I had a cyst that ruptured. So now I know why I had pain all the time. But was pissed my previous doctor of 8 years never thought to do an US!

Check with your doctor about getting one.

  • I get that too. It hurts less with different positions, missionary being the least painful. It is a symptom of uterine fibroids, which I have but the docs will do nothing about.

  • Yes I will say you need some lubricant it should make things a whole lot better

  • I don't think lube is the problem...its the pain like someone punching me in the gut...not friction issues....

  • It could be a cyst. Sounds like a pain I get. Going on the pill could help it go away.
