How do I make my milk dry up?

I quit breastfeeding 4 days ago and after 3 days it was feeling better until last night they were swollen again and leaking... I am so sore.

  • Sounds crazy but cabbage leaves. It totally worked for me and the cold from the leaves felt so good on my sore boobs.

  • I let mine dry up slowly by pumping less and less every day. Obviously it took a couple weeks but I never had painful engorgement.

If you don't want to do that, try cabbage leaves and cold compress. Avoid heat (no hot showers) and don't stimulate them at all. A tight fitting sports bra is a good choice.
