  • They can't tell you without an ultrasound or a Doppler to listen to the heart beat(s).

  • Either an ultrasound or doppler. Also if your pregnancy hormone level is way high that's a sign of twins. If it turns out to no be twins, I'm gonna bet you're having a boy because they require more calories and women tend t gain weight faster with boys and eat more too.

  • Ultrasound. And is this your second pregnancy? Women who have already had a baby often looker bigger earlier the second go round.

  • The only way to tell is by having an u/s done.

  • It depends on your doctor whether or not you'll have an u/s at your first appt. Mine does & then you get another at 20 weeks to determine sex. But your doctor should be able to tell by a doppler if they don't do an u/s. They'd hear 2 heartbeats. But you do show faster in subsequent pregnancies.
