  • I read all kinds of books depending on my mood. I like just about anything by Diane Mott Davidson, Janet Evanovich (hate the language in her books though), and a few others. Currently though I'm reading Finding Father Christmas. It's a very interesting read and I'll most likely hunt down some of her other books.

  • I've read the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich and I didn't find the language offensive at all - I don't know what the above poster is talking about. Yes, there are a few words, but it's not like HBO....I haven't read her romance series, maybe she's talking about that?

As for good authors....Anything by Jodi Picoult, James Patterson, Charlaine Harris (if you like vampires), goodness, there are so many. I am reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - it's pretty good - once you get past the first chapter.

  • I have a laundry list of favorite authors: James Patterson, Patricia Cornwell, Michael Connelly, Nora Roberts writing as JD Robb, Jonathan Kellerman and James Lee Burke....just to name a few, LOL. I am currently reading this book called "The Late, Lamented Molly Marx" and it is laugh out loud funny and poignant at the same time. There is an awesome book I have called "Belong to Me" by Marisa de los Santos and I have read that book over and over again. Also, anything by Emily Giffin is usually good. Okay, I feel like I am being long winded now, so I will stop....LOL
