  • Happy Birthday!

And to answer your question, no. My daughter has the same birthday as I do, so there's always a party.

  • Eh, my birthday stopped mattering before I had kids.  My parents didn't even call me on my 21st birthday, lol.  My in-laws threw me a party my first birthday I celebrated with them (when I turned 23) but after that...I stopped expecting anything.  My husband doesn't care at all about special days so we don't celebrate my birthday or Mother's Day or our anniversary or Valentine's, etc.  I don't get cards or gifts from him or the kids (unless they make them in school during art class).  But, we also don't celebrate my husband's birthday and don't do much for the kids on their birthdays (my oldest son just turned 9 and just got a card and $9, then we took him out to eat a couple days later when dh had off as is our tradition).

  • Yeah, I don't even like to think about my birthday. Something always happens on it! One year I got the flu, one year I got arrested(long story, but not a big deal!LOL), one year I was in the hospital....
