  • like wifey said.. you need rest days.. so maybe monday do a cardio class ( cycle, spin clases) then do a pump class (weights class low weights but continual use of arms, legs etc) then maybe wed do a pilates class, thursday weights, friday cardio, saturday weights, sunday cardio.

cardio is a good way to burn the fat off too. but the best class i would think is a pump class where you work all of your body and your build muscle. 2 or 3 days a week of weight training is sufficient. dependant on your fitness and how much you are willing to dedicate to excercise. :) goodluck

  • not sure in pounds ( im in australia) but light weights, high reps are a good way to get them toned without looking like arnie. maybe 5 kilos 3 x 15 sets?? im sure there will be a fitness buff out here who can give you better advice, but lower weight high reps is always what i was told by my trainers.

  • Start low then move up. Start with 2-3 lbs then go up from there.

  • I used 2 lb hand weights and used them 3 times/week during my aerobics class.
