How do you feel about leggings worn as pants instead of with skirts/dresses?

I feel that it's only appropriate if you're wearing a longer or flowier shirt that makes the whole outfit sort of come together. What do you girls think?

  • I think as long as you can pull it off (you aren't 500 lbs) and whatever top you are wearing covers your hips and butt it is OK!

  • I wear them as pants. No different than skinny jeans IMO. Some people can make them work, some people can't.

  • I don't think they really look flattering on anyone as pants.

  • I think it's really cute, but personally I look like a clown when I do it lol.... I wish I could though!

  • If you're going to do it, it's important that the leggings are good quality (I saw a woman the other day doing this with cheap leggings, and you have narrow hips. I don't think good legs matter as much as narrow hips. Otherwise, you look like your lower body is shaped like a light bulb.

  • Yeah I do not like them as pants because all the wrong people wear them. We need to see no cottage cheese on women.

  • I've done it before... no different then tight jeans... I have nice legs though so maybe I'm biased

  • I personally think it's really ugly on most people. I've only met one person who can pull it off. I think they do look great with dresses and skirts, though.
