  • My dermatologist recommended the Neutrogena cleanser mentioned in your first answer. Give it a little time and don't scrub too hard.

  • I use that acnefree stuff made by clean and clear. I only use it when I break out around my period, but it works AWESOME!!! You can get it at any store!

  • I swear by Neutrogena oil-free acne cleanser. I don't get horrible acne to begin with but I hardly ever break out when I use that stuff. It's like $5 for a bottle that lasts 2-3 months.

  • I also use AcneFree, but I use it daily.

  • I like witch hazel for astringent. It's super cheap and 100% natural.

  • Cetaphil is a wonderful face wash. It is mild and gentle and dermatologist recommended. I've used it for 15 years.

  • I use Mary Kay Velocity products with their blemish control toner. The entire bill is about 40 and it will last you for about 4 mos.

  • I use Aveeno bar soap for acne, it's inexpensive and works well. What I've been told though, and I'm not sure of the accuracy, is that hormonal acne isn't really receptive to topical treatments.
