Does anyone have any ideas on lunch things for 2 children aged 3 years and 17 1/2 months? I am pretty good at giving my children breakfast and dinner, but when it comes to lunch, I can't seem to be able to think of anything they like. They don't like chicken nuggets, hot dogs, or grilled cheese sandwiches. The youngest doesn't like pb&j and the oldest just eats the insides out or smears it all over the place. Neither like coldcuts. What should I do? I feel like such a failure as a mother right now becasue I feel I don't feed them correctly

  • We eat a lot of lunches that consist of a cheese, veggie, fruit, and bread. For example, today we ate cottage cheese with fresh peaches, celery and carrots (raw), and a slice of French bread (basted with a dipping oil). I cook from scratch and serve leftover sometimes as well. My son loves southern style crock pot mac & cheese. We don't eat processed foods though.

  • What about giving them some fresh steamed veggies and something to dip them in, along with some cheese and hummus.
